My name is Jeanette Snider Ph.D. and I am an educator and scholar activist with over 14 years experience in higher education institutions. I currently serve as an Assistant Research Professor with the Social Justice Alliance and Anti-Black Racism Initiative and Adjunct Professor at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park where my research, teaching, and administrative roles broadly focus on issues of race, racism, and equity in education and society.

As a scholar I have produced a variety of publications including research articles, a book chapter, and various conference presentations. As an educator, I've taught courses across disciplinary areas (i.e. Business, African American Studies and Sociology) domestically and abroad. As a college administrator, I helped create the first Anti-Black Racism minor at the University of Maryland, oversee two social justice focused initiatives and facilitate numerous diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) focused workshops for faculty, staff and students.
